Of course, you can set the time higher, but this only unnecessarily increases the printing time. If you enter less time, the slicer calculates the printing time with less time. With 6.5 seconds you get a much more precise forecast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"warum-keine-layer-thickness-von-0-25mm\">Why NO \"Layer Thickness\" of 0.25mm?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Entgegen der Empfehlung von Anycubic f\u00fcr die geringste H\u00f6he einer einzelnen Schicht, sollte man nicht mit 0,025mm drucken, sondern stattdessen 0,02mm oder 0,03mm nutzen. (Mehr ist nat\u00fcrlich m\u00f6glich in 0,01mm Schritten)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The answer to this question must be divided into 2 areas. On the one hand in the technical specifications of the engine and on the other hand in the chemical properties of the resin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order for resin to cure optimally, the layer should be approx. 0.25 mm. In this respect, Anycubic has given the correct information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">But! the stepper motor \"only\" has a resolution of 0.01mm. If you want to know how a stepper motor works in general, have a look at the following <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=eyqwLiowZiU\" target=\"_blank\">Youtube-Video<\/a>. However, with microstepping it is possible to divide the 10\u00b5m into 16 individual sections and thus achieve lower values (0.625\u00b5m per microstep). But the accuracy of microstepping is clearly worse than with \"whole\" steps. A nice article on this subject can be found at <a href=\"https:\/\/hackaday.com\/2016\/08\/29\/how-accurate-is-microstepping-really\/\" target=\"_blank\">hackerday.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"beispiel\">Example<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>A small example should illustrate the problem. We assume, it is printed with settings of 0.025mm. For each lift of one layer the stepper motor has to do 2 whole steps and 8 microsteps. Let's assume that the offset of the Microsteps is 20%. Thus, the first layer is not 25\u00b5m but 26\u00b5m thick. At the second lifting of the buildplate, the stepper stops at a \"whole\" step (we have now reached 50\u00b5m). The difference to the previous layer is only 24\u00b5m. The difference between the two layers is now 7.6%. To compensate for this difference, the exposure time would have to be adjusted, but it is never possible to say exactly when a layer has become too thin or too thick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In summary one can say that for most prints this small difference is not decisive. In many cases the microstepping could be better than described in my example. But it cannot be predicted exactly.
