Edit tabletop trees

Published by Mattias Brennecke on

In the first part of the series I downloaded a *.stl file from a Thingiverse customizer.

Since my print area is not large enough to print the file at once, I have to divide the file into small sections. There are many solutions for this, I chose SketchUp with a help of the extension STL-exporter.

I split each branch into a separate group and exported everything as a single *.stl file. The second picture shows the size of my print area. Then the individual files are aligned and printed in the Anycubic Slicer. If you have any questions about SketchUp, the extensions or the Anycubic Photon, please leave me a comment.

In the third part, the trees are reworked, painted and decorated.
